Public Health TN seeks to connect public health professionals, students, and invested members of the general public with:
- Projects, volunteer and paid positions, and initiatives in their local region (e.g., Memphis/West TN; East TN; State-wide)
...as well as:
- Discuss, promote, and disseminate information regarding special topics in public health for our region (e.g., obesity/nutrition; HIV/AIDS; infant mortality rate)
- Connect and develop partnerships with others in the field and/or the region in order to design, implement, and realize public health projects and initiatives
- Establish connections between public health students and fieldwork/practicum/research opportunities.
This site is developed, maintained, and administered by Laureen P. Cantwell (MLIS, Drexel University iSchool), an Assistant Professor at the University Libraries, the University of Memphis and a Masters of Public Health candidate at the University of Memphis's School of Public Health. While Laureen has affiliations with both Drexel University and the University of Memphis, this site is not affiliated with either organization.
