About PublicHealthTN
This website is administered by Laureen P. Cantwell, an MPH candidate the University of Memphis's School of Public Health. While she works as a faculty librarian at the University Libraries, she seeks opportunities to bridge her interests as a librarian with her interests in Public Health. At a meeting with the TN Commissioner of Health, John J. Dreyzehner, MD, MPH, in January 2013 it became clear that -- while the Public Health professionals and students in Tennessee are very engaged and enthusiastic for their work, there are not always easy channels available for communication.
Hopefully you find this site to be a step in the right direction -- a place where listservs can be joined and created; a forum for discussion and information posting; a collective of resources, and more! If there's something you'd like to see added to the site -- especially resources -- please let us know!

While Laureen has affiliations with both Drexel University and its iSchool (MLIS, 2011) and the University of Memphis (and its University Libraries and School of Public Health), this site is not affiliated with either organization.
